I learned so much in my days of studying femininity and through the woman's circles and retreats I have hosted and attended. Why I wrote my book really, It was the first time I came across the parasympathetic nervous system and regulating it. I learned of oxytocin and how it is the restorer.
At this time, with all that is going on, I find this is the key to really having a good day and health. The world wants us in driving forward, "hurry up, it's a crisis, you are behind, speed it up, don't be late or you'll fall behind", just a crazy, untrue energy. When we operate here, our body never has a chance to renew, rejuvenate. Then our immune system is unable to run properly. Rest and down time has lost its place. It is the health crisis. I believe quality water and learning to regulate your nervous system are the health hacks in our time. My book shares a perspective on how to do this in our world. By knowing our feminine gifts and engaging in those things with artistry, pleasure and fun, we can daily reset. We do small things we enjoy and they give our system a rest from survival to pleasure. That changes huge chunks of your day. If you can enjoy the simple pleasures, you reset your body from the wind of endless adrenaline. I left Colorado and was traveling for 5 months deciding where to move, and that had its ungrounded, crisis feeling underneath. I did things deliberately and daily to bring in pleasure. Tai chi, enjoying cooking and eating. Nature, I worked at a lake or outside where the tone of birds and earth emfs, could counterbalance the stress of moving around. As the world heats up even more with the information that is coming out, we have to be concerned about the stress, fear and panic it creates. To feel oxytocin, the parasympathetic nervous system, right vibe or frequency, you need to know how good feels in the body. Most don't even know that feeling. It is not a my life is fine, all is good mentally. It is the peaceful, relaxed feeling that you can stop for a minute, take a reset break and breathe deep. Taste food you are eating or tea your drinking, really appreciating presence. Feeling this oxytocin first, then discovering how do you personally bring it in. When you consistently become aware, you change the body system consciously. If I am wired or speeding up, then I know to stop and reset. Slow my pace down so it doesn't wind up. Excitement has the adrenal rush in it. Enthusiasm is a better, more regulated world. Over excited is like panic in the body. I do presentations and meetings that take up energy. After so many, I feel energized but I start to get into the wirery over charged feeling so I stop and slow down. I hope before the wirery feeling keeps tightening. The biggest issue is the body hasn't caught up and integrated all the actions, all the perceptions and emotions I have experienced. For me, I need to take breaks and resets between things if I want to stay out of the stress cycle. Bring my body back to calm, alert. This is huge for me and I glide rather than wire out and crash. As you become aware, reset, get back to flow over fly, you create habits. The body likes the parasympathetic system so that it can also rebuild and renew the body. As you slow down in moments and give this state time, the body naturally starts to bring it back in automatically. I share this for at this time, I feel the stress around me, my own stress and the stress of others. I have learned to keep my state calm and alert ,so I am available and respond in ways that work for me. This was the best practice and understanding I learned from the studies. We can always bring greater joy and reset stress doing our feminine favs: nourishing others, taking care of ourselves, making our home beautiful, having great smells and colors and fabrics around us that we notice and enjoy. Dressing to feel good, cooking what tastes incredible, really enjoy communicating with others. As we get the pleasure out of these daily actions, we start to have a regulated nervous system more of the time. It is a posture that you face the world with. Love to us all in this disrupting transfiguration we are in. Slow down, breath and hydrate well.
