As we continue in this social distancing situation, I have found myself in moments of sadness. I am not sure why this emotion rolls in, often triggered perhaps by others stories, strife and challenge. As an empath, the larger field can effect you in the strangest of ways. We can feel this larger emotional field for we are all connected. All of us have the ability of empathy. The more you are connected to your emotional nature, noticing and allowing it's ways, the easier it is to feel others emotions. Some of us are to learn this feeling of others while some of us are to learn to discern our feeling from others.
This gift is so powerful for it supports us to know what others feel without them telling us. It is a high form of compassion. We are sensitive to others as a gift of connection. Many do not realize they are empathic. It can cause us problems when we are unaware that it is others feelings mixing with our own. Being sensitive can be a gift or an energy drain depending how we understand it. It is often why you start in a good mood, move toward one in a low mood and end up leaving the interaction with low energy or the sadness, confusion, dismay they have. We are all connected on the energetic level. If you are sensitive, learning how this works can support you on many levels emotionally.
I have found myself suddenly getting this urge to cry. Learning what to do with this time as we are held inside, I find in the spaces in between, I will suddenly feel very sad. I am allowing of my emotions knowing acknowledging them, feeling them to wash over without a story or mental activity, they leave almost as quickly as they come. It could be my own sadness inside incited by another's or my connection to the world feeling the sadness and fear all about. It doesn't really matter where it comes from or why. Very important things to learn about our emotional nature. It is a guidance system so it can be moved through very quickly and easily when you don't avoid its direction.
Energy waves around. You pick up on the larger field. Sadness and fear are all around us. There needs to be no judgment on it. It is rather best to feel what is passing through like a wave, process it and let it go. Often easier said then done but the gift that empaths offer the world. They will feel the field unless they use drugs or other elixirs to numb or escape. Feelings are part of their gift to ride and understand energy. So as we feel for ourselves or others, we clear the field of fear, sadness, confusion. It is good to process these feelings so they are not in you or the world any longer.
We have been taught to suppress our feeling nature and at a time like this, when our routine is not the same, these feelings get an opportunity to express in us. It is a good practice to go through them. Let them go. Whether they are yours or another's is not as important as FEELING the richness of life. You can't feel high joy if you don't process your lows. The energy it takes to suppress your feelings is not available for life. I am finding all kinds of hidden nooks within myself and just letting them be what they are. They pass so quickly when we just feel them. No worries to shift, judge or push away. They just leave in a moment. Tears especially washing. We all have more sadness and grief within us for the smallest of things. It is good to take the moment to feel and clear. The world feels more vibrant and bright when we clear the windows so to speak.

To see the positive potential in this slow down. To live with uncertainty without all the judgement. To see the world and ourselves in a clearer manner that only slowing down can afford us. And yes, feeling our emotions that we may of been to busy to give a moment has its cleansing and healing. Shifting our timeline, opening ourselves to more presence of what is here and seeing, feeling and digesting it over judging, ruminating or feeling stuck in it. Once you feel it, let it be, it moves so quickly. You wonder why we never learned this way of processing.
As our thoughts can run a pattern, so can our emotions. Woman are generally considered the masters of this emotional field. You will find them in all corners of the earth supporting and facing such emotional turmoil. It is part of our nourishing, divine nature. We are the ones holding the hands of the sick, comforting others in challenging times and walking into places no one chooses. Man can as well but it is natural to woman by our biology of life giving beings. As we understand and feel out the emotions not in hurting ourselves, but bearing witness that is so natural, we support a more balanced world of mind and emotion equal and used in unison. Often called the path of the heart.
This is the perfect time to clean out and feel the clarity. . It is natural for us to be afraid and sad at a moment when the world is in hold. But if you recognize these as emotions to be felt and released, you find yourself coming to a center of peace. We will survive whatever this is. We always have survived and often see the beauty of a challenge years later. In knowing this, perhaps remembering this is the case, we can consciously go through this seeking that silver lining for ourselves. It becomes a journey through our layers of self that can ultimately free us of this sad, fearful part of ourselves and world.
I inspire you to really take the time to feel the crap. It doesn't last long and it is often a fear of worry or projected future. We don't know how this will play out and as a species, we have survived many things. To be in this slow motion of life, we do have the opportunity to really tap into ourselves and allow, accept and cooperate with our feelings. They can't hurt us by feeling them. They create havoc when we don't. They pass quickly and then as one of our interviewers said, love lies at that bottom of it all. So once we feel these feelings through, love bubbles up inside at the end. What a glorious ending to what seems unbearable.
God bless you all as you journey through this uncertain time. If we all do our inner work, we can shift our world to find greater grace and live deeper values. I am enjoying the roller coaster of awareness of me. It is an adventure and a mystery. Moment by moment we are finding our way and this gives us an opportunity to see what living this way feels like. It is magical in some moments and deeply moving at others. All of it part of this process here.
It is not more spiritual to be happy all the time. To live in accordance with spirit is to be aware of all the emotions, thoughts and body without getting so disturbed by it knowing this too shall pass. Then all becomes a celebration of life as it is. Cooperation can be our choice and from there, enthusiasm comes in which is the movement of grace. In theos, in spirit, in celebration.
