I aspire to inspire others that living is a yoga. To make all acts sacred, all beautiful in and of itself, even fear or panic, spaces you pass through, with conscious awareness as you move through, this is the yoga of living to me. Being in the moment and having a perspective in your foundation that truly everything is for your growth and upliftment. Knowing truly you are not given what you can not handle. Being able to find this place within through the panorama of life. This is my high goal, the goal of raja yoga, to be present in all acts. Living this truth is empowering.
I am kinesthetic so it seems easier for me to be in the moment. I can get into this sensory mode where I notice the nuances of color, texture, sound, wind, other peoples energy, my senses can bring me present. I more often can get lost in time and see how sometimes it is fast and others times snail slow. I have spent a lot of my life trying to focus this sensing into a more mechanical, ordered trait. It won’t fit there. It is of its own accord because it comes from sensory, feeling nature, creative, flowing. This is a magic gift, not a hindrance as I was taught. I am finally giving its due honor, allowing this sense to develop and be used as a gift has brought me towards a flowing existence. The senses bring us alert in our bodies. From here we can use all faculties to surf the world, not just the mind, we can engage our multidimensional nature. If you are only in the mind you cannot access all the senses correctly. Blending the body messages and perspectives with the mind perspective are the yoga balance we seek. It also offers an opening to our 6th sense. Blending these two perspectives of ourselves opens the empathetic gift, feeling the connectedness we truly have to others. That is what I have discovered through doing the physical, Tia Chi, dancing, yoga, honoring my body through gentle organic movement has tapped me into an energy source I didn’t know before. As I develop my honor and connection to my body by being in it fully, it has much to tell me about the world in a subtle way that I could miss being caught in the chatter of the mind and noise of the world. These flowing movements put me in a relaxed flowing state. My body remembers how it feels to move in rhythm and calm energy. Good practice for this hectic life here. Additionally, meditating on a place of fullness, filled and flowing with connection to this universal energy force allows me the safety to perceive the world as expanding . That I am always able to pass through. Life becomes the yoga of experiencing it without judgement and flowing through it. Seeing this way brings joy in easily. Again this practice of calling in my fullness, my connection to the one that we are all part of, helps train my body to experience life in fullness. Creating great new ways to live and move in the world. The Eastern arts, expressive and healing, inspire us because of the pace, present awareness they teach us. To live as you move like a dance of poses knowing all have their place in the flow of change is the art. Finding a blessing in having a body, honoring it and its nuances as your ally, aligning our bodies, mental, emotional, physical and our spirit at the helm. This is the yoga of living! This is the gift I share in teaching. It allows our body to calm down, relax, get into oxytocin and joy is the natural outcome. Like Magic I invite you to give yourself this gift. I am only a consult away! May we walk forward with the goal to make life art, to live in joy, play with it and make living a yoga of expressing your true spirit. How lovely to Be Queen!
