Collaboration is Power!

Our world so based on competition and it has done its work to build quite amazing structures. However, a new era is upon us with all this interaction that supports an even greater evolution of our working together that is about collaboration, win/win. I have always been one to collaborate and thank my best friend in life, Beth Kershaw for that. We hung out all of our life like sisters. We are both very different in ways that blended well to have fun and do many business projects together.

I took that into many groups and situations and often through time, dismantled competitive things to bring together the power of many minds. I did it with the organic grower down the road. We both grew flowers, she was  smarter and doing it longer than I. She had a feeling of competition and after a few years of people getting prices from us both, I talked her into us working together on weddings and sharing different customers when we had conflicting dates. We ended up being great friends and sharing flowers, doing weddings together and creating standard prices to support us both. We pulled together all the local flower growers in a team like effort rather than competing. It was great learning and we supported each other well.

I also began the Green  Collaboration with Debbie Desandre Of Harmony Clean. Both of us looking for other green businesses 10 years ago ,so we could have greater products. We held a vendor show at Bucks Country Gardens in spring to support all of us getting in front of our smaller market at that time for green products. Together we supported each other to expand our market and share customers.

Now I work with the healing and expressive arts. Healers and healing centers are starting to connect realizing even those that share the same art can help each other for we all do the same art differently. Some clients we don't quite blend with and to offer them to another in our field helps us all. We often did that with brides in the flower industry. One who was overly ordered did better with Kate, the other grower. I supported more whimsical brides. Having many alternative treatments, I have found the gifts on how the same art done by another was very different. So there really is no competition about most things.

Our projects get done quicker and with greater fun when we are in collaboration. The power of the group so outweighs any individual. Woman are masters at this. Most all organizations that support society are run by woman in volunteer ways that get things done quickly without lots of organization. It is a gift of woman. Many are in the competitive business world so they are used to using that way when their innate way is of negotiation and cooperation.   When everyone does alittle, alot can get accomplished in less time with less taxing on each one. An incredible power.

We see it all over the internet and by way of all fields, complimentary folks sharing about their colleagues to their clients. Woman naturally share their networks, the good hair dressers, the cute lawn guy, the best plumber. It is just our nature to network those who serve us well without any thought for a kickback or finders fee. It is the way of support and connection that is innate.

I inspire you to to be efficient in  energy use by collaborating with others.   Working with others,  finding support in your projects,  can move you quicker with much less time. It is a master leader who can respect others equally and work with others leaders to move ideas. Allowing them the freedom to do it their way and get results. There are those who want to do it all or do it just their way. They will be leaders of the past for it is about doing less and reaching further. The world is working in greater ways of group consciousness that respect all parts to move together using everyone's gifts rather than learning a whole new skill set. 

A smarter approach to most all tasks. It is the wave of the future so you may want to get on board and have more time for the things you love! An old friend used to call me "Huckleberry Lyn" for I was so good at getting others to collaborate on projects and often end up doing very little work.  It is a master skill that allows community, connection and more time to play!
