The Dawn of a New Cycle!

 I enjoy the changing of the year! So much fun through the holiday. I am filled with love and joy, even  with strife mixed in, the vibe so high. This sets us up for the inward cycle of winter where we dream up what to bring forward in the coming seasons! A perfect time to reflect on what was good last year, what was not so good, what must change and where we are heading in this new beginning.

Many of us are in for great movement forward this year. The last few years have been cleansing for us all. We have been seeing  what is no longer good in our lives. This process of getting to reality and out of romancing our not so beautiful life.  The results we get to see in the coming years. We are all moving to a more spiritual, values centered life. Dropping the shoulds, the false images, the pretense we have been trained in and allowing our individuality to express. We are creating lives that work for us, not ones that follow a predetermined path. The greater world is not predicable, most all our systems in a restructure as we individually are recreating our worlds. The microcasm, macrocasm principle. both shifting to new. 

There is great freedom in this!  I, in process for 4 years and finally feel the endings are clearing on all levels! Now there is space for the newness! It  feels good to have a blank canvas!! At first it was a bit daunting.  Now I feel the desire to paint in full color! Our process through change is not on our own timing. We are taught to be aggressive, ambitious, make things happen. Often this creates anxiety for things have their own timing. When you play with the larger laws and the current energies, pushing doesn't create what you want. I find patience, holding to the direction often more of the journey than resisting what is happening by doing more.

As you design the next year, put forth the desires and determine your direction, keep in mind the idea of pleasure. Joy, happiness, peace, all are attitudes and can be found in most circumstances even challenging ones. We often are so scurrying toward the next thing that we forget the current joys, blessings and moments that are right here now. This allows greater ease, a more present awareness and easier happiness. It is not all about getting to the next space. That quest never ends nor should it.  The phrase "it is the journey not the destination" is the truth of it.  Consider living that more fully. Really experience the process as the fun, the pleasure of moving toward the goal, not just the ending. For every ending just means a new beginning. Keep an eye out for that rat wheel thinking.

 In transition, I have had to keep to this simple view of happiness. I don't yet know where this new life will lead me. Rather than get lost in the uncertainty, I continually remind myself of the mystery and charm of that. We are not settled with uncertainty so I shifted to  view it as mystery!  it offers  allure to my creative image making tool, aka, creative imagination. There is no definite cause effect in this world. The variables so many and the greater world not following an order either. We need to adjust how we see it and how we play in the changing conditions. Old rules don't apply and I am not sure they ever did. it just appeared more predictable.

An open mind, an eye for beauty and an awareness for simple pleasures is the simple path to creating a life filled with joy. It may be filled with many less pleasing things yet these directions will add greater happiness. We don't know what unexpected turns will come in. There is no controlling much but ourselves and our perspective. When we stay in that truth, we can see the year in a new way that adds to our health, relaxation and pleasure.  Making lemonade out of lemons is the master art. Tasting the sweetness in all situations so you get the juice of life is the highest form of living. These the great elixirs!

May you find great blessing, prosperity and joy in this new cycle. We are bright spirits and coming to see this within ourselves.  The mastery we have to enjoy life comes through seeing it as the adventure it is, This is the Magnus Opus. This is the direction that makes the most sense. Finding our power to have joy, happiness and giggles in whatever occurs is the way to mastering  in this new cycle.
