Somewhere along the way we have separated ourselves from nature! Even our dictionary defines it as separate from us. However, it is our very home, our world, where we live and have our being. We are made of it as all the animal kingdom. The rules and harmony apply to us. As we destroy nature, we destroy ourselves. It is that simple as it is our home. The beautiful thing about nature is that it is always cooperating, changing, rebalancing and rejuvenating. A good place to live.
As a flower farmer, it was very clear to me that I was just a blip in the matrix of nature. I did so well for I understood she was growing things already so I just had to jump in and give minimal support. The horticultural industry has this ideas to control, push, manipulate, etc toward growing. I didn't even try that as it was clear, the easiest way to a great flower harvest was to plant, sometimes water and let things grow. I followed the cycle of weeds and pulled them but never had a "control" attitude. I didn't need too. Other growers were amazed at how well I grew with no overbearing interjection! As I learned then, farming was a mess. The GMOs were horrific, the growing of monocrops which occurs nowhere in nature was out right stupid, the spraying and treatments all where about death not growth. At that time, I didn't have the inspiration to try to do anything other than grow in a graceful, organic way and consider that was my small way to support the world. As I get older, I see the insane amount of chemicals on our food gets worse. It gets in our water and the non diversity in planting makes no sense! It inspires me to support regenerative farming in a big way. I get my food as close to home as I can. I support developing local food distribution. If we transform our farming, we could erase our carbon footprint. All plants bring carbon into the ground so the more we get that carbon back into the soil, the healthier we are. In fact, we too, are carbon based creatures!! This could solve our carbon issues!! Imagine all the toxic farm land in the country being planted with diversity for harvest and for life saving measures. Many are converting and others will if we encourage them. They need no government support for farm land growing regeneratively makes sustainable money! It has been proven and it is a growing movement. Being in the water business, a rabbit hole I never imagined I would be in, I have learned far too much how all the chemicals we use on land, all the antibiotics we give our animals, all that goes into the water table and thus us. Then we add even more chemicals to "make it safe to consume". It became so clear that we are drinking toxic water and it effects us negatively!! Again beauty and health, my favorite things are deeply effected by our water and our food far more than much else. 70% water we are! It all seems so clear and I wonder, am I crazy to see that drinking the best water and getting the best grown food are great supports to health over all else? It is pretty basic logic. I intrinsically knew I was part of the earth and can feel this whole place in a very sensual, energetic way. "All I see is part of me" was my mantra. The Himalayan Masters taught me about this nature energy in a way I could understand. I saw flowers grow for brides in a week against all law. I heard what the soil needed and listened to the trees and life around me. The flowers seemed to have different notes and sing as I walked by. I thought it was all in my head and everyone had this connect. I felt like things just talked to me or let me know what it needed or where to put plants. It was a great interaction that just seemed natural. We all have this ability to just tune in and know. We must get into our body and out of our heads all the time! Everything is connected to us and interacting sending signals. Our environment is as alive as us. Nature fills us with a receiving action that we can get no where else. We all know it as we step outside, our whole being changes. We fill up with negative ions on the physical level. Our senses are ignited again as we step out of our thinking. Our microbiome gets healing juice from all around us! Emotionally, the beauty so inspires us that a natural love comes forward in our feeling nature. Mentally we can shut off our brain with no effort but just gazing. Spiritually we are renewed as we see the current of life right before our eyes enlivening us! It is easy and magical. Embrace that you are nature. You are more of a spirit in a body than anything else. We animate this animal body and can use it for all the delights this animal offers. We get so caught in the mind that we miss the beauty that our body is taking in. We get caught on thoughts and forget all the other abilities and senses we have to experience life. In fact we miss most of it. As we reconnect, grow some plants, eat well grown food, breath in fresh air from the trees, visually get stimulated, be enticed by the sounds and enjoy the taste, life changes dramatically. Even this whole illness trend forgets that we swim in viruses outside and in. We are filled with viruses and actually evolve through viruses. Step back into the nature you are that wants to thrive, live healthy and naturally survive. Connect with plants, tinctures, farmers and holistic healing gifts that come from nature. They will heal you faster often, especially on an acute basis, as they are made of your nature, not in a lab. Begin where you can and realize, you are part of this whole world as you see it. It is you, you are part of it. This supports me in a more optimistic and happy life. I am a nature junky and get so fed by it. I use her gifts whenever I can before things get too far along. I go outside mentally knowing it heals me with no mind interjection. I know I exhale what the plants needs as they exhale the oxygen I need. It is all one. One big planet of nature and we are just guests here on the journey. May embracing nature as you become part of your new experience in 2022! Great healing of you and you of it, all together will bring in a new world of connection that already exists!
